1972 Trip to Nova Scotia and other memories of the '70's

I drove my Pinto up to Nova Scotia to see the total eclipse of the sun. But what a trip it was...!

My 15 year old brother Lorin and I set out from Detroit, Michigan on the longest trip of our lives. I am combining the notes from my spiral notebook journal with the photos of my trip.

Tuesday

The day after the eclipse

High winds along with rain sent me flying into the car Tuesday morning. It didn't rain that hard, but because of the wind the tent was flapping and the rain came in. Right now it is raining and we hope to go to the North Shore and look for some driftwood.
